A multidisciplinary brainstorming over the Atlantic: the 1st International Online Workshop Migraciones peninsulares contemporáneas hacia las regiones del Plata
Abstract
In the 1st International Online Workshop Migraciones peninsulares contemporáneas hacia las regiones del Plata. Problemas y perspectivas de anàlisis para profundizar en su estudio, that took place on 20th April, 2016 organized by ISEM-CNR of Cagliari and IUHJVV from Universitat Pompeu Fabra of Barcelona, we gathered a group of researchers, interested for years in a systematic way to the migration flows that connected the Italian and Iberian peninsulas to the austral republics of Argentina and Uruguay, to reflect on aspects and theoretical problems of our studies. The main objective was specifically the methodological analysis of the researches carried out so far and of those currently in progress, in order to highlight the problems and critical issues that they entail.
