L’incoronazione di Barisone a “re di Sardegna” in due fonti contemporanee: gli Annales genovesi e gli Annales Pisani
The coronation of Barisone as "King of Sardinia" in two contemporary sources: the Genoese Annales and the Annales Pisani
Abstract
The present paper want to analyze the feoffment granted by the Emperor Frederick I Barbarossa to the Arborea’s judge Barisone, appointed king of Sardinia in 1164. The chosen sources will be the Pisan Annales and the Genoese Annales, which are very reliable because of the public roles of their authors. The most important events will be highlighted as such as the reasons of the actions of the personalities and the political consequences of such acts.
Lo studio vuole analizzare l’infeudazione concessa dall’Imperatore Federico I Barbarossa al giudice d’Arborea Barisone, nominato, nel 1164, re di Sardegna. Particolarmente attendibili per i ruoli pubblici ricoperti dai rispettivi autori, le fonti privilegiate saranno gli Annales pisani e gli Annales genovesi. Messi in evidenza i vari momenti della vicenda, saranno sottolineate le ragioni che spinsero ad agire i protagonisti degli eventi, evidenziando inoltre le conseguenze politiche.
