El reino de Cerdeña en el Archivo de la Corona de Aragón
The Kingdom of Sardinia in the Archives of the Crown of Aragon
Abstract
Starting from the history of the Archives of the Crown of Aragon and its documentary collections, an overview of the interesting documentation for the history of the Kingdom of Sardinia throughout the period of Aragonese and Spanish domination is presented. Special attention is given to the documentation preserved in the former Royal Archives of Barcelona (currently the Chancery section). A note is included on the possibilities of consulting this documentation on the internet, as well as an annex with the revised list of all the Sardiniae registers from James II to Charles II (1297-1700) preserved in the Archives.
