Painting and sculpture in the Late 15th and 16th centuries. From external contributions to the affirmation of local workshops
Abstract
The paper briefly illustrates the artistic landscape in Sardinia between the second half of the 15th century and the 16th century with reference to pictorial and sculptural episodes, with attention to the dynamics of circulation of languages, works and their makers in the broader context of the Western Mediterranean area.
Il contributo illustra sinteticamente il panorama artistico in Sardegna tra la seconda metà del XV secolo e il XVI secolo in riferimento agli episodi pittorici e scultorei, con attenzione alle dinamiche di circolazione dei linguaggi, delle opere e dei loro artefici nel contesto allargato del Mediterraneo occidentale.
