Abstract
The aim of this paper is to explores the links between music, theatre and poetry in the early sociability of the ‘Catalans of Latin America in Buenos Aires’, with special emphasis on who will be remembered as its founder; as well as the collective trans-generational memory of this experience and its leaders. This research was possible by interrogating unexplored documentary sources belonging to private archive of the Lleonart-San Sebastián family. The analysis allows making visible a weak memory, relegated in the history of Catalan immigrant community of Buenos Aires, highlighting at the same time the socio-cultural effects of the musical, theatrical and literary culture.
