L’homme qui enjamba le Sahara
The man who stepped over the Sahara
Abstract
At the time of the celebration of the centenary of Léopold Sédar Senghor (October 9, 1906 - December 20, 2001), first President of the Republic of Senegal, a member of the Académie Française and a great African poet, the author wanted to give his testimony by retracing three moments of his long association with the one who was for him a friend of choice, almost a spiritual father.
