La experiencia de Ruggiero Romano en la historiografía italiana en torno a México
Ruggiero Romano's experience in Italian historiography on Mexico
Abstract
The article aims to highlight the fundamental role of Ruggiero Romano in Hispano-American historiography, always integrating it and without abandoning the European perspective, his contributions to the knowledge of the colonial economy and the demystification of its behaviour during the seventeenth century. On the other hand, it has been redeemed the role he played in the training of teachers and researchers from several countries of the American continent and his defense of the Universities.
El artículo tiene como finalidad destacar el rol fundamental de Ruggiero Romano en la historiografía hispanoamericana, siempre integrándola y sin abandonar la perspectiva europea, sus aportes al conocimiento de la economía colonial y la desmitificación del comportamiento de ésta durante el Siglo XVII. Por otra parte, se rescata el papel que cumplió en la formación de maestros e investigadores de varios países del continente americano y su defensa de las Universidades.
