Relations between Italy and Mexico between the two world wars
Abstract
Relations between Italy and Mexico changed dramatically after theMexican Revolution and the World War I, by the formation in both countries of authoritarian nationalist regimes with ambitious economic, social and cultural agendas. Elements to meet and distancing intertwine in a complex dialectic whose protagonists politicians, diplomats, journalists and intellectuals, through intermittent and remote contacts that do not allow, often, to understand fully the reality being observed. The relations will eventually turn into open warfare in 1942, as part of World War II.
