Mexico as a stage of a spiritual search in Carlo Coccioli's writings
Abstract
Carlo Coccioli's meeting with Mexico will profoundly mark the spiritual itinerary and the writing of the Italian author. His writings allow you to go through a constant process of personal research, from the first novels with a Catholic imprint, Il cielo e la terra or Le Calliou blanc, up to the religious syncretism of Piccolo Karma. First works written on Mexico - Omeyotl, Diario messicano; Manuele il Messicano and L’erede di Montezuma - reflect a profound change and a new look towards a reality that is both mysterious and magnetic.
