Centres of power in the Western Mediterranean: From the Middle Ages to the end of the Ancien Regime. International Conference (Cagliari, 21st-24th October 2015)

Abstract

International Conference on the Centres of Power in the Western Mediterranean - organised by the Institute of Mediterranean European History of the CNR in collaboration with the Department of History, Cultural Heritage and Territory and the Doctorate in Modern and Contemporary History of the University of Cagliari and the Universitat de València - held from 21 to 24 October 2015 in the city of Cagliari at the ISEM (CNR), the State Archives of Cagliari and the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Cagliari. A congress that followed two main strands that share several research projects carried out by participants: one related to institutions and the other to the seats of power.

Congresso Internazionale di Studi sui Centri di Potere nel Mediterraneo Occidentale ‐ organizzato dall’Istituto di Storia dell’Europa Mediterranea del CNR in collaborazione con il Dipartimento di Storia, Beni Culturali e Territorio e Il Dottorato in Storia Moderna e Contemporanea dell’Università degli Studi di Cagliari e con l’Universitat de València ‐ svoltosi dal 21 al 24 Ottobre 2015 nella città di Cagliari presso l’ISEM (CNR), l’Archivio di Stato di Cagliari e la Facoltà di Studi Umanistici dell’Università di Cagliari. Un congresso che ha seguito due filoni principali che accomunano diversi progetti di ricerca portati avanti dai partecipanti: uno legato alle istituzioni e l’altro alle sedi di potere.
