Engaged video games, to educate? From the theatre of the oppressed to video games: September 12th by Gonzalo Frasca
Abstract
The game by Gonzalo Frasca, September 12: a world of toys, used in schools as an educational simulation questions our current events and shows the truth of the false media information. It opens with a reflection on the terrorist war and situates artistic video games as an emancipatory means. I propose in this article a sociocritical analysis of this game.
