Cerdeña en la Monarquía hispánica. Personas, cosas y acciones
Sardinia in the Hispanic Monarchy. People, things, and actions
Abstract
The title Sardinia in the Monarchy in the 16th and 17th centuries is taken from a broad and comparative perspective, considering the trilogy of "people" (personae), “things” and “actions" (according Roman lawyer Gaius) in order to analyze the link and the belonging of the Kingdom to the Monarchy. The chapter on people deals with proposals and tracts published by those who had suitable initiatives for the presentation and position of Sardinian law and institutions in the Monarchy. In a complementary way, the chapter on "actions" pays special attention to the activity of the group that I call "Sardo-Valencian", in the second half of the 17th century.
