Argentines in Italy and the Bicentenary of Argentine independence
Abstract
Il saggio ricostruisce una prima bibliografia sul tema dei flussi migratori dall’Argentina verso l’Italia registratisi dagli anni ’60 in poi del secolo scorso; illustra il fenomeno dell’associazionismo degli argentini e degli italo-argentini nel nostro paese e le attività organizzate in occasione del Bicentenario dell’indipendenza argentina (maggio 2010) sia dalle rappresentanze diplomatico-consolari sia dalle associazioni d’immigrati argentini e italo-argentini.
The essay overview the literature on the topic of migration from Argentina to Italy since the 60s of last century; it illustrates the phenomenon of associations of Argentines and Italian-Argentines in our Country and the activities organized in Italy for the bicentenary of the independence of Argentina (May 2010) both by the Argentine Consulate and by the associations of Argentine and Italian-Argentine immigrants.
