The flight between two shores of the El rojo Uccello by Delfina Muschietti
Abstract
Just as Paolo Uccello's painting of “San Giorgio e il drago” takes us, with its search for captivating perspectives and apparently unreal colours, to a mythological atmosphere of metaphysical abstraction, so does the book of poems “El rojo Uccello” (1996) by the Argentinean author of Italian origin Delfina Muschietti , which presents this painting on the cover and the painter in the title, leads us to that alienating state of suspension and dislocation typical of those who belong to two worlds or two shores and which is very well represented by an itinerary of the dream or the sway of time.
