Abstract
Starting from Mussolini's foreign policy with Argentina and a brief excursus, both historical and geographical, on Sulcis Iglesiente, on the job situation in coal, lead and zinc mines in this sub-region, I will tell the personal story of Agostino Curcu, born in Scano Montiferro and currently living in Buenos Aires for 70 years.
Partendo dai rapporti di politica estera tra il regime di Mussolini e l'Argentina ed un breve excursus storico-geografico sul Sulcis Iglesiente, sulla situazione lavorativa nelle miniere carbonifere e piombo-zincifere della sub-regione, racconterò la storia personale di Agostino Curcu, nato a Scano Montiferro e residente nella provincia di Buenos Aires da 70 anni.
