Alfonso Bovero: an illustrious anatomist in the region of Bandeirantes, São Paulo 1914-1937
Abstract
We follow here the presence of the Italian doctor and anatomist Alfonso Bovero (1871-1937), from his arrival in São Paulo, in 1914, and his medical and intellectual trajectory in the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of São Paulo. Likewise, we are looking for indications that recompose his departure from Turim in 1937, when he died, and the form by which his memory was erected in the following decades, above all by the medical elite formed in the Faculty of Medicine. In short, it is intended to follow a certain man in time and, even if the intention is not just to build his "life history", the research will necessarily go through his biography.
