Abstract
El conocimiento historiográfico sobre la construcción del Estado en España ha avanzado significativamente en las últimas décadas. Para el caso francés, considerado como el paradigma del absolutismo, Jöel Cornette se refirió a “l’impuissance d’un État tout-puissant” donde la soberanía se dividía hasta el infinito, mientras que William Beik demostró la colaboración social que necesitaba el absolutismo para gobernar.
