Abstract
A primeira circum-navegação da Terra dirigida por Fernão de Magalhães teve entre as principais fontes que nos permitem conhecê-la as obras de António Pigafetta e Francisco Albo. Os seus trabalhos são de natureza diferente e complementares merecendo ser devidamente confrontados, tarefa que aqui realizamos. Com este estudo contribuímos para aprofundar o conhecimento da mais notável viagem marítima da História da Humanidade, a qual permitiu conhecer a Terra tal como ela é.
The first circumnavigation of the Earth led by Fernão de Magalhães had among the main sources that allowed us to know it the Works of Antonio Pigafetta and Francisco Albo. Their works are of a different and complementary nature and deserve to be properly compared, a task that we carry out here. With this contribution we contribute to deepening the knowledge of the most remarkable sea voyage in the History of Humanity, which allowed us to discover the Earth as it is.
