Monarchic affirmation in Aragonese Sardinia at the beginning of the Early Modern Age. The incorporation of the Marquisate of Oristan into the royal property
Abstract
This text proposes an analysis of the rebellion of the Marquis of Oristan, analysing the importance that the intervention of Fernando the Catholic had in this event. The text tries to show the decisive influence of this involvment during the rebellion and, above all, how the king took advantage of Crown's power position to introduce a series of political and institutional reforms aimed at modernising the Kingdom of Sardinia.
Questo testo propone un'analisi della ribellione del Marchese di Oristan, analizzando l'importanza che l'intervento di Fernando il Cattolico ebbe in questo evento. Il testo cerca di mostrare l'influenza decisiva di questo coinvolgimento durante la ribellione e, soprattutto, come il re approfittò della posizione di potere della Corona per introdurre una serie di riforme politiche e istituzionali volte a modernizzare il Regno di Sardegna.
