For a political history of Pisan Cagliari. The Burgenses of Castelli Castri
Abstract
This essay offers a contribution towards a political history of the Pisan colony of Cagliari, examining the role played by the burgenses in some difficult moments of the 13th century. These were steady residents in the castle of Cagliari, distinguished from Pisan cives who here lived only in periods restricted to their affairs and professions.
Il saggio rappresenta un contributo ad una storia politica della Cagliari pisana, a partire dal ruolo svolto, in alcuni momenti critici del XIII secolo, dai burgenses, i residenti stabili a Castel di Castro, da distinguere da cives pisani che vi vivevano per tempi limitati ai loro affari e professioni.
